Uncooperative Models

If I had an uncooperative model what I would do first would be to ask the model what's wrong, after that I would try to fix whatever problem the model has. I would also try to make the model as comfortable as possible in the position they are in because the happier the model the better I could work and the better the photos would turn out. Before we even started the shoot I would make sure the model had a good hair and makeup artist because the better the model looks the more they will want their picture taken. It is common sense and it happens to all of us, if we do not like the way we look we probably won't want to take pictrues of ourselves or have someone take pictures of us. I would also let the model choose what positions they want to be in because normally they have been doing this for a long time so they know what they look best doing and I believe they would appreciate me letting them get involved. Another thing you can let the models choose and get involoved with is them choosing music you can play. Having music playing sets the mood as more comfortable, laid back, and fun and this could get the model to open up and maybe dance around and have more fun and with the model having more fun the photographer can get better more, genuine shots. Hopefully after the model started doing their favorite positions and listening to their favorite music they would become more open and start listening and trying to do what I was saying. If the uncooperative model was an animal though what I would try would be to use treats and I would try to stay calm so they could calm down and just stay in one place. In the end though, if nothing made the model happy I would still treat them with respect and I would try my best with what they are giving me becuase no matter what they are still the paying cutomer.
